We pride ourselves on a lot of things at Iowa School for the Deaf! One of them is the variety of activities we offer for not only our students, but other deaf and hard-of-hearing 1st-12th grade students who may not attend Iowa School for the Deaf. There are a variety of events, for different ages and different days, nights or weekends. However, they all have the same goals: to provide interactive, fun, communication-friendly opportunities for everyone. Sign only? Voice only? Sign a little and voice a little? Regardless of the way you communicate, you are welcome here. Parents are also invited to get an idea of the interaction that is possible when language and social barriers aren’t an issue. And, these activities are always FREE! Scroll down to see what’s coming and the past adventures we’ve already experienced this year!
