New Seasonal Signs Sessions

Iowa School for the Deaf hosts a new webinar series focusing on American Sign Language signs for various seasons. Sessions are conveniently held after school, via Zoom. This series is especially for teachers of the deaf, educators and professionals working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and parents, families and guardians.

Meet the instructor: Brent Welsch, B.A.
Brent Welsch has taught American Sign Language at Iowa Western Community College in the Sign Language Interpreter Training Program for 13 years. Since 2014 he has been the sign language instructor at Iowa School for the Deaf, providing 1:1 and group sign classes for school staff. Brent has also served as coach for football, track, and cross country at ISD.
