The ISD campus is nestled at the base of the Loess Hills on the southeast edge of Council Bluffs. Its 100 acres include a nature center and nearly one-mile paved trail, more than 50 varieties of trees and expansive, well-groomed grounds.
Unfortunately our area is in the midst of construction that is expected to continue throughout 2016. Please review our following suggestions to minimize any issues in coming to our beautiful campus.
From I-29: take the Lake Manawa exit (Exit 3) turn south onto South Expressway for 0.7 miles. At intersection of South Expressway and Veteran’s Memorial Highway (US 275 / Hwy 92), turn east/left. Take this road 1.6 miles, to the intersection of Highway 92 and Wabash Ave/Harry Langdon Boulevard. Turn right at stoplight. School entrance is on left.
From I-80: take the Madison Ave. exit (Exit 5) turn east onto Madison Ave for 0.2 miles. Turn right at stoplight onto Valley View Dr. Travel on Valley View 0.9 miles, to the intersection of Valley View and Highway 92. Turn west/right onto Highway 92, and turn south/left at the intersection of Highway 92 and Wabash Ave/Harry Langdon Boulevard. School entrance is on left.
